IMPERSONAL LOVE IS PURE AND WITHOUT CONDEMNATION; IT IS ALL EMBRACING, ALL ENFOLDING, ALL TENDERNESS. ABOVE ALL IT IS LOVE WITHOUT PAIN.
White Eagle, Living with Love.
If I am honest, with examination, I can see that in the past the love I have experienced has been anything but impersonal.
I was attached to love.
I had conditions with love; needs to be met.
I placed demands and expectations on love, controlling it’s movement and flow.
I believed love appeared, acted, behaved and spoke in particular ways.
I had a box and demanded love contort itself to fit within it.
I felt fear.
I experienced jealousy, envy, manipulation and betrayal.
I felt doubt, questioning and distrust.
What I thought was love, was not love.
All my emotions and experiences were showing me, teaching me, this is not love.
Love is not fickle.
It doesn’t come and go. It does not turn on and off.
It is not cruel or unkind.
There is no pain in love.
Love is patient. Love is understanding. Love is wise.
Love is joyful. Love is free. Love is grateful. Love is peaceful.
Love is harmonious. Love is forgiving.
Love heals all, tenderly embracing and enfolding all creation, without judgment or condemnation.
There are no favorites, no one stands above another.
Pure Love is poised, steady and impersonal.
